Get your free printable back to school planner stickers set!
The first day of school is fast approaching and with it the sudden urge to ORGANIZE your planner! Yikes! Where did the summer go?
And so, I’ve created a file of stickers for your planner. Use these to make school organization a breeze. You’ll see at a glance all the important days, such as Spring Break, Picture Day, and so on. I print out my own calendar using the Google calendar and the stickers are sized for that. But if you’d like for me to create a file with other sizes, just let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can do! And of course, the svg file is easily editable to suit your own school events. For example, you could color code the free printable back to school planner stickers to represent each child.
I use this sticker paper from Online Labels. I’ve used their products for years and just love their quality! My favorite is their repositionable labels. These are great for the calendar stickers because we all know how the schools like to change things up after you’ve already put it on your calendar! So now, you can just move the sticker when you need to.
I use my Silhouette CAMEO to do all of my cutting, but you can replicate what you see here cutting by hand! That said, if you have been curious about a cutting machine for a while, I can tell you it is without a doubt the best crafting tool I’ve ever used.
If you use the svg file, here are the cut settings I used:
Material: Sticker paper, white
Blade: 2
Speed: 4
Force: 4
If you don’t have a cutting machine, you can print the pdf, cut it out with scissors, and glue it to your planner with a glue stick.
To Print and Cut with the SVG File
Download the free zip file and unzip it. Now open Silhouette Studio, then import the file and your Silhouette Studio should look like this.
First, print the file on your home printer using the sticker paper of your choice. This is what I use. The print icon is in the top dark grey row, 4th icon from the left. Allow the ink to dry for a minute or two to ensure it doesn’t smear. Then, load the printed sheet onto a cutting mat. Feed the mat into your CAMEO machine.
In Studio, select the teal “Send” tab. Select your cut settings and your screen should now look like this. I added the red arrows to highlight some of the settings for you. Don’t forget to set them correctly. I’ve forgotten that step sooooo many times myself, only to end up with a mess – ugh! Specifically, use the “cut edge” setting and NOT the “cut” setting.
This will give you a “kiss cut.” The page will stay intact, along with it’s backing, but the stickers will lift off individually.
Now, here’s the top-secret secret…before removing anything from your cutting machine (DO NOT UNLOAD,) make sure the sticker paper has been completely cut through around the edges by lifting one of the corners while it’s still on the mat and in the machine. If for some reason, dull blade or whatever, it didn’t cut through enough to lift the sticker, just “SEND” it again. Since you didn’t remove the mat, the new cuts will be in the exact same place. You’re now officially a genius!
