What You’ll Need
- Cupcakes, of course!
- The free file available in my Resource Library
- Paper to print on.
- Color Printer
Start by downloading the free 4th of July Cupcake Topper printable. It’s in my resource library found here.
Print it out with a color printer. Regular copy paper is fine, but a sturdier one like this is even better. It’s my go-to paper of choice in all my printables.
Cut out the flags, being sure to include the extra white space to the left of the flag.
Next, apply some glue to the back side of the white area. Place the toothpick on the glue.
Wrap the white part around the toothpick so that it glues to both the toothpick and the back side of the flag.
That’s it! You just made your own cupcake toppers in no time at all! It really doesn’t take much to liven up a cupcake and it really adds to the festive atmosphere. You can grab some really cute cupcake liners here and here to add the finishing touch!
So, go bake up a batch of happiness. Let the kids create the cupcake toppers, and have a blast this 4th!
