If you’re like me, much of your Thanksgiving menu stays the same each year.
There’s the turkey, of course, and the sides don’t vary much from year to year although we are trying a few Keto recipes this time. And because we use the same recipes year after year, I finally got smart. (It only took me DECADES to do so!)
So here’s my one big tip…
Instead of tracking down the turkey recipe from the Alton Brown cookbook, the cranberry recipe from the Martha Stewart cookbook, and the ginger cookie recipe from the family favorites cookbook, I made copies of each recipe and put them in the binder along with the planner included here. (I keep the original recipe in it’s usual location.) So now, I only have to get out ONE – just one – binder out of the book rack and absolutely everything is in there. Eeekkkkk! Oh, the joy of simplicity! Well, actually, I first had this idea with my Christmas planning and it just naturally made sense to make one for Thanksgiving, too.
And if you have a friend or relative hosting for the first time this year, what a great gift this would make!
Print it out for them, put it in a binder and add a few of your own favorite recipes. Don’t forget to slip them into a page protector.
So are you ready to do this? If so, here’s the file!
